Meet Dr Harvey Sandhu

Dr Harvey Sandhu has been caring for patients in Brisbane’s north-west for nearly a decade, and is known for his calm, reassuring manner and genuine, patient-first approach to dentistry.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Sheffield in the UK in 2012, before spending two years practising with the NHS in England — an experience that exposed him to a broad range of treatment modalities early in his career. In 2014, Dr Harvey relocated to Queensland, joining Queensland Health at Caloundra Dental Hospital before moving into private practice.

He is a firm believer in active listening, taking the time to fully understand each patient’s needs, concerns and overall health before tailoring treatment recommendations. Patients describe him as empathetic, gentle and easy to talk to, with a knack for explaining even complex procedures in simple, straightforward terms — and many have stayed with him for over a decade as their trusted family dentist.

Dr Harvey is committed to ongoing professional development, regularly attending courses and seminars in endodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics and oral surgery. This breadth of training allows him to provide most dental treatments in-house, reducing the need to refer patients elsewhere. His special interests include clear aligners, crown and bridge work, and endodontics (root canal therapy).

Outside the practice, Dr Harvey enjoys cooking, travelling and staying active at the gym.
