Dr Meet Lorraine Park
Lorraine graduated with Distinction from the University of Otago School of Dentistry in New Zealand in 2005. Since then, she has practised right across New Zealand, from Auckland down to Nelson in the South Island, gaining experience in both private practice and hospital dental centres.
After having her two boys, Lorraine returned to Otago to complete a postgraduate Diploma in Paediatric Dentistry in 2020, further building on the two years she spent in New Zealand’s largest public paediatric dental department, where she provided dental treatment under general anaesthetic.
Lorraine’s passion is helping her patients feel confident in their smiles again — whether that’s through cosmetic dental treatment or working closely with patients to help them overcome dental anxiety. She loves the “people” side of dentistry, and is a firm believer in treating the whole person, not just the mouth and teeth.
Outside Albany Creek Dental, Lorraine is a Clinical Educator at the University of Queensland School of Dentistry, where she helps guide the next generation of dentists through their clinical training. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family and is a lifelong, dedicated reader.

Lorraine is a Clinical Educator at the University of Queensland School of Dentistry, where she works alongside dental students to reinforce essential clinical skills, including cross-infection control, appropriate PPE and hand hygiene, medical history taking, understanding how medical conditions and medications affect the mouth, building patient rapport, and conducting thorough extra-oral and intra-oral examinations.
She is a member of both the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and ADA Queensland (ADAQ).
